The New Mexico Arts Foundation's primary function is to provide financial support for arts services and programs to non-profit organizations statewide, and to administer the 1% public art program for the state of New Mexico. 

 

In this expanded role, NMAF serves as the fiscal agent for a growing number of artists and projects, including and beyond the scope of music, that showcase the rich talent and many artforms at work in this truly creative State.

The New Mexico Arts Foundation

This is our general fund and contributions from here will be distributed to various arts organizations in New Mexico.

The Governor's Arts Awards

This fund goes to support and cover the costs of presenting the Governor's Arts Awards.

Fundraiser for Burned Out and Washed Out Musicians

of Ruidoso and Altadena

On August 1 a group of local musicians will host a fundraiser for musicians affected by the fires and floods in Ruidoso and Altadena. The Show will be August 1, 4:00 - 6:00 at the Outdoor Stage at La Tienda in Eldorado. All proceeds will go to musicians via the New Mexico Arts Foundation and MusiCares.

Poetry Out Loud

You can donate to the New Mexico Arts Poetry Out Loud program to honor Phyllis Jennings Kennedy, who played a major role in representing this program within New Mexico.
